Domestic help in Lodz

Domestic help differs from cleaning in one respect: you are not buying a fixed scope, you are buying time and you decide what it goes on. A standard visit has a list of tasks agreed in advance. Here you set that list yourself, and it is you who decides whether an hour goes on ironing, on the kitchen cupboards or on bringing order to a wardrobe.

Who it suits better

• when the flat is generally in order but a backlog has built up in one place
• when you need cleaning combined with ironing or with grocery shopping
• for older people who need help with specific tasks rather than a full clean
• when the scope changes from visit to visit
• in flats with an unusual layout, where a per-room price list does not reflect the work involved

How we count

An extra hour of work costs 50 zł and ironing is 45 zł per hour. The minimum order is 135 zł, which is about three hours. On a regular schedule the same discounts apply as for cleaning: 10 % for two visits a month and 15 % for weekly ones.

When ordinary cleaning works out cheaper

When it is simply the whole flat in a standard scope. A studio then costs 184.90 zł and two rooms 229.90 zł, and for the same working time that is better value than hourly billing. We say so plainly when you book, rather than selling the more expensive option where the cheaper one does the job.

What you agree before the visit

The list of tasks in order of importance. This is the single most important part of the order: if time runs short, the cleaner stops at what was lower on the list rather than at what they judged less urgent. An order of priority spares both of you from improvising halfway through.

What we do not do

We do not look after children or dependent adults, we do not administer medication and we do not provide personal care. We do not do laundry, we do not walk pets and we do not carry out renovation work. We do not shop with cash handed over without arranging it with the manager first.

The same person

On a regular schedule we try to assign the same cleaner after the first visit rated positively. With domestic help this matters more than with ordinary cleaning: the scope is individual, so somebody who knows the home does not have to ask the same questions every time.
