Chair and armchair cleaning in Lodz

Chairs and armchairs are priced per item, so a single piece almost never makes sense: the minimum order is 120 zł. This page shows how many pieces you need to gather and how to match the right item to a particular piece of furniture.

How many pieces close the order

Six dining chairs come to exactly 120 zł, the full minimum with nothing added. With four it is worth adding an armchair at 50 zł or the rug under the table at 10 zł per square metre. In an office the threshold is six chairs, and there are rarely fewer.

Fabric or leather

This decides both the method and the price. Fabric is extraction cleaned: the solution goes into the fibre and comes back out with the dirt. Leather is never washed with pressurised water; we clean and recondition it with products made for furniture leather. We check the material before starting, so picking the wrong item in the form is not a problem: we correct it on site.

The label under the seat

The symbol W means water-based cleaning and such a piece can be extracted without restriction. The symbol S means solvent only; water leaves a ring on that kind of fabric at the edge of the treated area, so we do not clean it and we say so before starting.

Why chairs wear out fastest

The seat of a dining chair has many times less surface than a sofa and takes the same load: food, drinks, grease from hands. Per square centimetre it is the hardest-worked upholstery in the flat, which is why a set looks tired before a sofa bought in the same year.

Offices and commercial premises

In offices and restaurants we do whole sets in one visit after hours. The price per item stays the same, and with a few dozen pieces we plan two people so the job is closed in one entry.

How long it takes to dry

Two to four hours, faster than large furniture because the foam layer is thin. A set cleaned in the morning is back at the table the same afternoon.

Where we work

Across the whole of Lodz and the surrounding area, at the customer's place. We do not take furniture away.

What we do not do

We do not unscrew seats from frames, we do not replace foam and we do not repair worn fabric. We do not extract-clean leather seats; for those we have separate cleaning with reconditioning.

What to prepare

Move the chairs together in one place and clear the space around the table, because the machine runs on wheels and has to be rolled in. We need access to a socket and to water in the same room.

Frequently asked questions

Do you clean chairs with wooden seats?

There is nothing to clean; we wipe wood during ordinary cleaning at no extra charge.

Will wine stains come out?

Fresh ones almost always, months-old dried ones partly.

Do you repair office chair mechanisms?

No. We deal with upholstery only.
