Widzew is the part of Lodz where the office space is youngest. Along Rokicińska and around Olechów, buildings have gone up in recent years with open layouts, air conditioning and wall-to-wall carpet, and that changes how cleaning works more than the floor area does.
In an open space there are no thresholds and no doors, so vacuuming goes faster, but dust spreads evenly across the whole area, including onto equipment and window sills. There are no rooms that can be skipped on a shortened visit: there is one space, and it is either done or not.
In new offices it usually covers the entire working area. Daily vacuuming lifts the surface but not what has been trodden into the pile over six months, especially in the strip from the entrance and around the desks. Once every six months it is worth adding extraction cleaning at 10 zł per square metre, preferably on a Friday after hours so it dries by Monday.
In offices with a kitchenette this is the critical point: microwave, sink, worktop and a bin with food waste. In an open space the smell spreads across a whole floor in one skipped evening, so we do the kitchenette daily regardless of how sparse the schedule is for the rest of the area.
The base rate is 2 zł per square metre with a minimum order of 200 zł. Windows are counted separately at 40 zł, office chairs for cleaning at 20 zł. The month's visits are collected into one invoice with a list of dates. The discount is 10 % for two visits a month and 15 % for a weekly schedule or more often.
After the team's working hours or before they start. In Widzew a fair number of firms run shifts or flexible hours, in which case we agree a window individually and solve access through building security or key collection for 30 zł.
Olechów, Janów, Widzew-Wschód, Zarzew, Stoki, Andrzejów and the whole route along Rokicińska to the city limits. Travel is included in the price of the service.
We do not tidy documents on desks, we do not wash employees' dishes, we do not enter server rooms or stock warehouses, and we do not clean windows from outside using a lift. Technical and warehouse space is quoted individually; the office rate does not cover it.
Who opens the premises, where the rubbish goes and which areas we do not enter. In open-plan offices there is one more question: whether desks are to be wiped along with the equipment or only the free surfaces. A rule set once saves misunderstandings for the whole period of cooperation.
Longer than the following ones: whatever built up under the previous contractor is removed in one go.
