Studio flat cleaning in Lodz

A studio is the most frequently ordered clean in Lodz. The city has an enormous stock of small flats in Retkinia, Widzew-Wschód and the tenements of Śródmieście, most of them rented out. A visit costs 184.90 zł and takes about three hours.

What the price covers

• the room: vacuuming, mopping, dust from furniture and the sill
• the kitchenette or kitchen: worktop, sink, hob, cupboard fronts outside
• the bathroom in full, with the toilet disinfected
• the hallway including the mirror and wardrobe fronts
• skirting, doors, handles and switches
• making the bed and taking out the rubbish

A kitchenette changes the rules

In a studio the kitchen is usually not a separate room but part of the living space. Cooking grease then settles not only by the hob but on the furniture in the sitting area: on the back of the sofa, on shelves, on the lampshade. It is the one situation where simply wiping the furniture is not enough, which is why with a kitchenette it is worth adding the hood at 40 zł and cupboard interiors at 59 zł once a quarter.

What is worth adding

Windows at 40 zł each; a studio usually has two, so 80 zł. Oven and fridge at 40 zł each. Balcony 30 zł. A full set for a small flat comes to around 380 zł, which at a move-out or a change of tenant is clearly cheaper than a dispute over the deposit.

Minimum order

It is 135 zł, so a studio exceeds it. If you want only selected rooms, count by item: a room 45 zł, a bathroom 45 zł, a hallway 35 zł.

A studio in a tenement

The same floor area takes longer there than in a block: a ceiling at three and a half metres means a larger wall surface, and old box joinery twice as many panes when cleaning windows. We count windows by sash, so one box window is two items at 40 zł.

Cheaper on a regular schedule

With two visits a month the discount is 10 %, with weekly ones 15 %. In a studio cleaned every two weeks the visit shortens to two hours, because less has accumulated between appointments.

What speeds up the visit

In a small flat, more than anywhere else, free floor and free worktops matter. At thirty square metres every item left out takes a real percentage of the working surface, and since the cleaner does not decide where to put it, they work around it, which shows when the job is done.

At a change of tenant, owners usually order the base plus the fridge and oven cleaned inside. The set comes to around 265 zł and it is what decides the next tenant's first impression.
