Upholstery cleaning in Górna, Lodz

Górna has more detached houses than any other part of Lodz: Ruda Pabianicka, Górniak, Wiskitno and part of Chojny. That changes the character of upholstery jobs. Instead of a single sofa from a block of flats, we usually handle a complete lounge set plus rugs from several rooms.

Why a whole set rather than one piece

Because after treatment the pieces of one set should look the same. A cleaned sofa next to untouched armchairs gives the opposite effect: the difference in the shade of the fabric only becomes visible once one element is clean. That is the first reason houses are quoted as a whole.

The minimum order is 120 zł and in a house it is practically always exceeded.

One journey, several rooms

In a house the extractor is set up once and then moves from room to room, which is why four items in a single visit take noticeably less time than four separate orders. Living room, bedroom and child's room in one appointment usually take three to four hours.

Drying in a house

It goes faster than in a flat because through-ventilation is easier: windows open on two sides of the building can halve the time. Even so we plan the visit for the morning, since with several pieces at once the humidity in the rooms rises and without airing the process drags out.

What we do not clean

Leather and artificial leather, for which we have separate cleaning with reconditioning from 149.90 zł for a two-seat sofa. Hand-woven wool rugs. Fabrics labelled S, which allow solvent only. We do not remove wear, cuts or sun fading; those are damage to the material that cleaning does not reverse.

What to prepare

Take off throws and cushions that are not part of the set, move side tables aside and clear a passage on one side of each piece. We need access to a socket and to water; in a house it is best to point out one place from which the whole floor can be served.

When to plan it

In spring, together with the post-winter clean, or in autumn before the heating season. In a house with a garden there is one more argument: over the summer more sand and dust reaches the living room than in a block flat over a whole year.
