Pre-holiday cleaning in Lodz

Pre-holiday cleaning has one feature worth knowing early: the slots run out faster than you think. In the last week before Christmas and before Easter there are practically no free windows, and same-day requests are then unrealistic.

When to book

For December, at the turn of November and December. For Easter, two to three weeks ahead. The best slots are a week before the holiday rather than a day or two: a flat cleaned in advance only needs refreshing, while at the last minute cooking and arriving guests get in the way anyway.

The order that makes sense

First what makes mess: windows, cupboards, carpets. Then the cooking. Refreshing surfaces at the end. The reverse order, cleaning first and baking after, ends with a kitchen that has to be done twice. That is why with a booking a week before the holiday it is worth including the oven and hood, and with a booking the day before, rather not.

What it costs

The base as always: 184.90 zł for one room, 229.90 zł for two, 274.90 zł for three. A holiday set with windows and the kitchen in a two-room flat usually comes to around 550 zł. We do not raise prices in this period; the same price list applies as in March.

How long it takes

A two-room flat with the full set of extras is six to eight hours. With that scope we usually send two people so the job closes in one day; in December moving part of the work to another date usually means there is no other date left.

Textile cleaning

Carpets and sofas before the holidays only make sense in advance: they dry in four to eight hours, and a large piece can take a full day. A booking two days before Christmas Eve is the last sensible moment.

Where we work

Across the whole of Lodz and the surrounding area. Travel is included in the price. We work Monday to Saturday, between eight and six.

A home where several people cook

Over the holidays the kitchen works harder than in a whole ordinary month: steam, grease and smells settle on the cupboard fronts and on the ceiling above the hob. That is why two visits often work better, a large one before the holidays and a short one after, covering the kitchen alone at 229 zł. It comes out cheaper than a single deep clean ordered in a panic after New Year.
