Car upholstery cleaning in Lodz

Before you order an interior clean, one thing is worth knowing: not every company does the same job, and the methods differ in their consequences. We handle leather upholstery, at the customer's address, for 299 zł, and we deliberately do not offer wet cleaning of interiors even though it is sometimes cheaper.

Three methods and what they lead to

Extraction cleaning with pressurised water works on a sofa in a living room, but in a car cabin it leaves moisture for several days, because there is no way to draw it out. Ozonation masks odour without removing its cause. Chemical cleaning with reconditioning, which is what we use, works on the surface and puts no water into the seat foam or the headliner. Each of these methods has its place; the point is to choose it knowingly.

Leather or fabric

We handle leather and artificial leather interiors. We do not wet-clean fabric upholstery in cars, not because we cannot, but because doing it properly needs blowers and several hours with the doors open, which we will not provide outside a block in Retkinia in November. In that case it is more honest to send you to a workshop with proper facilities than to take the job and leave the car damp.

When the treatment makes sense

Before selling a car, after buying a used one and once a year for a company vehicle. It does not make sense when the leather coating is worn through to the layer beneath: cleaning will then expose the pale underside and the interior will look worse than before. We say so after inspecting the seats and we do not take money for work that will not improve anything.

Where we work in Lodz

Outside your house, in the car park by a block of flats, in an underground garage or on a company car park. We need a working socket and room to open all the doors. In underground garages it is worth checking the socket in the bay in advance; that is the most common reason a visit starts with hunting for an extension lead. We travel across the city and the surrounding area with no distance surcharge.

Company fleets

With several cars we handle them on one day in one location and collect the billing into a single invoice. That suits companies with sales representatives' cars, where the interior is part of the image and every car is parked at a different address.

What we do not do

We do not wash bodywork and we do not do paint detailing. We do not clean the headliner, the boot lining or the mats. We do not ozonate interiors. We do not repair scratches or cracks in leather; that is a trim shop. We do not remove seats and we do not touch the seat belts.
