Post-renovation cleaning prices in Lodz

Post-construction and post-renovation cleaning costs 6 zł per square metre with a minimum order of 200 zł. A fifty-square-metre flat comes to 300 zł, a house of a hundred and twenty metres to 720 zł. Windows are charged separately at 50 zł each, because what comes off them is film, glue and mortar rather than dust.

Why it is not ordinary cleaning

Building dust is finer than household dust, rises with every movement and settles again within about fifteen minutes. The rooms therefore have to be worked in a set order — from the top down and from the furthest room towards the exit — with the floor washed last, as many times as it takes for the water in the bucket to stop clouding.

What is included

Dust removed from every surface including vertical ones, protective film taken off windows, doors and profiles, glue, tape and mortar residue removed, skirting boards, sills, radiators and ventilation grilles, sockets, switches and door frames, and repeated washing of the floors.

Old tenement flats

In the centre of Lodz a renovation leaves more than plaster dust: lime dust from exposed render, shavings from sanded parquet and flakes of old oil paint. Box windows are charged per sash at 50 zł, so a typical flat with four of them comes to 400 zł — worth knowing before booking. Above three and a half metres of ceiling height we quote individually.

When to call us in

After the tools and waste have gone and before the furniture arrives. That is the only moment the space is empty and everything is reachable. Freshly lacquered parquet is the exception: it must not be washed wet for several days, so we take the dust off dry and postpone washing.

What we do not do

We do not remove rubble, sacks or material packaging, do not strip dried paint from flooring with aggressive chemicals, and do not work at height outside the property.
