Window cleaning prices in Lodz

A window costs 40 zł, and 50 zł after building work. The price covers the glass on both sides, the frame, the seals and the sill, inside and outside within arm's reach. We charge per sash, not per opening — that is the single point where a quote most often differs from expectation.

Modern windows and box windows

A modern single-frame window is one sash and two faces of glass. An old box window in a Lodz tenement is two sashes one behind the other, so four panes, plus the space between them where most of the dirt collects. Counted honestly, that window is two items at 40 zł.

What a whole flat comes to

A two-room flat in a block with three windows and a balcony door: 160 zł. A three-room flat: 200 zł. A tenement flat with five box windows: 400 zł. Ordering windows on their own is subject to the 135 zł minimum, which a full set exceeds anyway.

A balcony cleaned as well is 30 zł. Windows after renovation, carrying film, glue and paint, are 50 zł per sash. Insect screens that lift out are cleaned with the window at no extra charge; screens screwed permanently in place we do not remove.

What we do not do

No work at height outside the building: no ladders against the facade, no lifts, no rope access. Windows are cleaned from inside the flat or from the balcony only. We do not adjust fittings, replace putty or take down grilles and external shutters.

How often

Twice a year is the normal rhythm: March, after the heating season, and September. Along the busy streets of the centre and in Baluty three months is more realistic, because the glass collects soot that plain water does not lift.
